How to request a hosting quote
The fastest way to get a quote is the form on this page. To price your hosting accurately we need four things: the number of units you wish to host (the minimum is 5), whether you will bring your own miners or buy them from us, the type of hosted units (for example S21 or S23), and your pool information, which can also be provided at setup. Tell us your preferred hosting duration and whether you are interested in the no-deposit option.
What happens after you contact us
Our sales team reviews your request and replies with a quote. Your all-inclusive rate will sit between $0.072 and $0.089 USDT per kWh, depending on the number of miners and space availability. Once you accept, we send a hosting agreement that sets out the terms for both sides.
Next, you either ship your miners to our facility (bring your own miner + hosting) or we source them for you as an equipment + hosting package. When the machines arrive, our technicians rack, cable and configure them and point them at your pool, and your boxes go into free storage. Your mining operation is typically set up within one to two business days, depending on the size of your order.
Fees at a glance
Hosting is billed at your all-inclusive rate. The racking fee is $35 USD per miner, one time per connection or boxing out. Miner box storage is free. An option with no security deposit required is available. Payments are monthly upfront.
A checklist before you ship miners
If you are sending your own equipment, confirm that every unit is a current-generation air-cooled model, since our facility is built around filtered air cooling and old, ineffective miners will not be hosted. Make sure your order meets the 5-miner minimum and that the hosting agreement is signed before shipping. Pack each miner securely, and remember that shipments from outside of Canada are subject to customs duties (about 6.5%), which are the shipper’s responsibility. As a foreign entity, you may be entitled to register a Canadian corporation and claim your taxes back.
Choosing a hosting term
Hosting contracts start at 6 months with no long-term commitment, and you can choose longer terms such as 12, 24 or 36+ months when you request your quote. Longer terms suit clients who have bought new, efficient hardware and plan to run it for years; shorter terms suit clients testing hosting for the first time. Whatever the term, the machines remain yours, and you can ship them anywhere once the contract expires and all outstanding bills are paid.
Who you will talk to
Your first conversation is with our sales team at our head office in Richmond Hill, Ontario, who prepare your quote and hosting agreement. Once your miners are live, our on-site technicians in Quebec look after them day to day, and our customer service and accounting team handle billing. One phone number and one email address reach all of them.
Questions worth asking before you sign
Before you sign with any host, ask how the rate is set, what is included and what is extra; who owns the miners and how you get them back; what happens if a miner goes offline; how repairs are priced; and what cooling the facility uses. Our answers are simple: an all-inclusive rate between $0.072 and $0.089 USDT per kWh; a $35 USD racking fee per miner one time per connection or boxing out; free miner box storage; your miners are always yours; onsite miner repairs and part replacement with labour usually included for hosted miners; and filtered air cooling built for air-cooled miners.
Hosting for international clients
We accept clients from around the world. You can monitor your miners remotely through your mining pool, and VPN access is available by request. If you are shipping from outside Canada, plan for customs duties (about 6.5%). As a foreign entity, you may be entitled to register a Canadian corporation and claim your taxes back.
Payments and billing
We accept BTC or USDT (exchange fees apply) and bank wire payments (no fees). Hosting is billed monthly upfront, and all payments are issued to HostAid Inc., which is the name that will appear on your statements. If a payment is missed, we provide power for up to 5 business days before machines are turned off, to allow time for payment arrangements.
Visiting our office or data centers
You are welcome to visit our head office in Richmond Hill, Ontario, or our data centers in the Montreal area and Huntingdon, Quebec. All visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins will be refused. Our main hosting facility is about 35 minutes from Montreal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), so a site visit fits easily into a day trip.
Support for existing customers
If you already host with us, use the same phone numbers and email for support. There is always someone on site to check and reply to your ticket, inquiry or email. VPN access to your miners is available by request, and we monitor pool status unless you choose not to share pool access.
Already a client? Adding miners
If you already host with us and want to add miners, send us the model and quantity. New miners are subject to space availability across our 530 miner spots, are racked at $35 USD per miner one time per connection, and are hosted at your all-inclusive rate.
Repairs, equipment and consulting
The form also handles repairs, equipment purchases and consultations. For on-site miner repairs and part replacement, tell us the model, how many miners need work and what you are seeing. For equipment, tell us which listing interests you. For larger projects, choose “Visit / consult” and describe what you are planning.
