How we cool

Cold, filtered Quebec air in. Hot air out.

Filtered air cooling, built for air-cooled miners.

Eight intake ducts draw outside air into the building and push it across the miner racks, with 156 summer/winter air filtration keeping dust away from your hardware. Four exhausts pull the hot air out through the roof. The result is a stable, cool, clean environment that keeps ASICs at peak performance and extends their working life.

A proven facility, operational since 2018

Our main hosting facility in Quebec has been operational since May 2018. It sits in a central in-town location about 35 minutes from Montreal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), which makes site visits easy. The building runs on CSA-built electrical infrastructure (Canadian Standards Association), is connected by fiber-optic internet for low-latency, high-stability performance, and has 530 miner spots.

How filtered air cooling works

The facility is designed around air. Eight intake ducts draw outside air into the building and direct it across the miner racks, where each ASIC’s own fans pull it over the hashboards. Four exhausts then remove the heated air through the roof. Keeping cold intake air and hot exhaust air moving in one direction is what keeps miners at stable temperatures.

Quebec’s climate does much of the work. For most of the year outside air is cold enough to cool miners directly, and 156 summer/winter air filtration keeps that air clean, which keeps cooling energy low and helps hardware last longer.

Built for air-cooled miners

Because the whole building is designed around moving filtered air, we host air-cooled ASICs. Focusing on one cooling approach keeps the facility simple, maintainable and reliable for every client. Check our supported miners list for compatible models.

Security, monitoring and insurance

The facility is insured, secured and monitored. Access is controlled by two layers of security plus city-integrated security, and video surveillance covers the site. We offer insurance against theft, water and fire damage. Our team monitors pool status and equipment, and VPN access to your miners is available by request.

Hosting terms at this facility

The minimum order is only 5 miners. Bring your own miner + hosting, or choose an equipment + hosting package. Hosting is all-inclusive at $0.072 to $0.089 USDT per kWh, subject to the number of miners and space availability. The racking fee is $35 USD per miner, one time per connection or boxing out, and miner box storage is free. Contracts run 6 months plus with no long-term commitment, payments are monthly upfront, and an option with no security deposit required is available.

Onsite miner repairs and part replacement

Hosting includes routine maintenance, so a failed fan or power supply is replaced on site instead of becoming weeks of downtime. Because the facility has onsite repair capability, most faults are diagnosed and fixed in-house without shipping miners anywhere. If a miner needs parts, we advise you on the cost first; usually our hosting plans include the labour and you only pay for the spare parts. If a miner goes offline for an extended period and is not bootable, you may be entitled to compensation for unused power, credited to your hosting bill.

What 530 miner spots means for you

The facility has 530 miner spots, and space is allocated as contracts start and end. If you are planning an order, especially a larger one, contact us early so we can confirm availability and reserve rack space. Where your all-inclusive rate sits between $0.072 and $0.089 USDT per kWh depends on the number of miners and space availability.

Getting your miners to us

If you bring your own miner + hosting, ship your units to the facility once your hosting agreement is signed. Shipments from outside of Canada are subject to customs duties (about 6.5%), which are the shipper’s responsibility. When your miners arrive, they are checked in, labelled and racked, and your boxes go into free miner box storage so they are ready when you move out. The racking fee is $35 USD per miner, one time per connection or boxing out.

A day in the facility

Behind the hashrate on your pool dashboard is a team on site. Technicians watch pool status and equipment, walk the rows checking status lights and airflow, keep filters and intakes clear, and pull any miner that drops offline for diagnosis. Most repairs and part replacements happen in-house, so the miner is back in its rack quickly.

Air filtration through the seasons

Outside air changes with the seasons, from warm, dusty summer months to cold, dry winters. Our 156 summer/winter air filtration keeps the air reaching your miners clean all year, so less dust builds up on fans and heatsinks, and miners keep running efficiently between maintenance visits.

Who this facility is built for

With a minimum order of just 5 miners, the facility suits individual investors placing their first order as well as established miners adding capacity. Larger deployments are welcome, subject to space availability across the 530 miner spots. Clients from around the world host here and monitor their machines remotely through their mining pools.

Planning a site visit

We welcome in-person inspections and due-diligence visits. Fly into Montreal (YUL) and reach the facility in about 35 minutes. Visits are scheduled by appointment only, and walk-ins will be refused. To arrange one, contact our team with your preferred dates.
